You’re not ill. You just want your edge back.

rTMS for Cognitive Performance: Brain Optimisation at the Neural Level · London

By mid-afternoon, focus starts to slip. Decisions that used to be quick take longer. You’re not burnt out, and nothing is technically wrong, you’re simply not operating at the level you know you’re capable of, and it matters, because what you do depends on clarity under pressure.

Cognitive performance has a neural basis, and it can be worked on directly. rTMS is a drug-free approach that uses gentle, precisely targeted magnetic pulses on the brain’s executive control networks, the circuits behind focus, working memory and mental stamina. This programme is self-pay and designed around your schedule, not your diagnosis.

Who it’s for

Does this sound familiar?

  1. You can still do the job, but it takes more out of you than it used to.

  2. Focus slips by the afternoon, and decisions that used to be quick now take longer.

  3. You're already performing well, and you want to operate with more precision, not just cope.

  4. Brain fog or mental fatigue is getting in the way of work that depends on clarity.

  5. You've tried the obvious things, sleep, exercise, coffee, and want something that works at the source.

If any of these feel familiar, a free call is a good place to start. You don’t need a GP referral.

precision rTMS for optimised cognitive performance in london

Cognitive Performance & Executive Function: Precision rTMS for Focus and Clarity

Cognitive performance is neurological. The circuits driving it can be optimised.

At the highest level, the limiting factor is rarely discipline or drive. It is the regulatory capacity of the neural systems that sustain clarity, judgement and precision under sustained load.

At Naya Health, we use precision rTMS to strengthen the executive control networks of the brain: the circuits governing focus, working memory, executive function and cognitive endurance. Gentle, targeted, and guided by objective measurement throughout.

Non-invasive, drug-free, and guided by objective measurement throughout.

The Optimise Protocol: Cognitive Performance Enhancement · London

Designed for executives, founders, athletes, traders or those who are already operating well and want to operate with greater precision.

Each session delivers gentle, targeted magnetic pulses in three minutes of active stimulation.

Each session delivers gentle, targeted magnetic pulses in three minutes of active stimulation. Multiple sessions are possible in a single day for those on an accelerated programme. Measurable change can be observed from as little as five sessions.

NayaScore™ maps your cognitive performance across working memory, executive function, attentional control, processing speed and verbal reasoning before your protocol begins. Each domain is benchmarked against a normative dataset for your age and profile. Your protocol is then custom-designed to those results and refined throughout: doctor-led and informed by your NayaScore™ cognitive baseline throughout.

Drawing on validated cognitive assessment across twelve domains, NayaScore™ builds a precise baseline that reflects your brain’s current executive and regulatory capacity. Updated throughout your protocol, it gives you and your clinical lead a clear, longitudinal view of how your cognitive performance is strengthening and rewiring.

For every other system in the body, we built a measure: cholesterol for metabolic risk, VO2 max for cardiovascular performance, HRV for autonomic recovery. NayaScore™ is the measure built for the brain.

Precision, made personal

Your brain. Your heart. Your treatment.

Most clinics treat a standard spot. At Naya, we look for the target that fits you.

Heart-brain coupling uses your heart’s response to stimulation to help identify a target connected to the brain’s regulatory networks. Your clinical assessment and NayaScore™ baseline bring the wider picture into focus.

A targeting tool within your clinical plan, not a guarantee of a better outcome. Your clinician will explain the evidence for your condition.

Sharper connections

Focus, memory and planning rely on connection. Connections can strengthen.

Greg Smith, Chief Executive of IP Group plc

Greg · Cognitive performance

“I apply rigour to every performance variable I can measure. But my brain, the asset that drives every decision I make at work, was always a blind spot. You could feel sharper or slower; you couldn’t quantify it. Naya was the first time that changed.”

Greg’s results are his own, measured over a short series in which practice effects cannot be entirely excluded. Of twelve areas measured, three improved, eight held steady and one dipped slightly. They are not a typical outcome, but an honest account of what precise, measured work on cognitive performance can reveal.

rTMS for Cognitive Performance:

rTMS for executive function: Safe, Gentle, and Well Tolerated

rTMS is an extremely safe and well-tolerated treatment.

rTMS is non-invasive, needs no medication and has no recovery time. You can go straight back to work, drive and carry on as normal. The most common side effects are mild scalp discomfort or a headache during or soon after a session, and these usually settle quickly.

Seizures are rare: about 0.003% of sessions, or roughly 1 in 33,000 (a conservative figure). When one does occur, it is brief, stops on its own and leaves no lasting harm. We have never seen one at Naya Health.

Before your first session, a clinician runs a full screen covering medical history, medication, metal implants and any personal or family history of epilepsy, to confirm rTMS is right for you.

Precision neuromodulation for cognitive performance is grounded in a well-established and growing body of evidence. A landmark meta-analysis by Xu et al. (2024), drawing on 53 studies and over 1,500 participants, confirmed that high-frequency rTMS produces significant improvements in accuracy, reaction times and executive function in healthy adults.

Your questions

Questions people often ask

How does rTMS improve cognitive performance?

rTMS uses gentle, targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, the region governing working memory, executive function, attention and decision-making under pressure. Repeated stimulation encourages neuroplastic adaptation, strengthening connectivity across the executive control networks and improving how efficiently the brain processes, holds and acts on information.

How many sessions will I need?

The optimise protocol is designed around efficiency. Each session delivers gentle, targeted magnetic pulses in three minutes of active stimulation, and clinically meaningful improvements can be observed from as little as five sessions. With multiple sessions possible in a single day, the full protocol can be completed quickly and around your schedule.

How soon will I notice improvements?

Response varies by individual, but many clients notice changes in focus, mental clarity and cognitive stamina within as little as five sessions. Some improvements continue to develop after your treatment as neuroplastic change consolidates. Your NayaScore™ baseline is measured at the outset and tracked throughout, giving you an objective picture of what is shifting across each session.

What does the evidence show for rTMS and cognitive performance?

The evidence base for rTMS in cognitive enhancement is well established and growing. A landmark meta-analysis by Xu et al. (2023), drawing on 53 studies and over 1,500 participants, confirmed that high-frequency rTMS produces significant improvements in accuracy, reaction times and executive function in healthy adults, with the most pronounced effects when targeting the DLPFC.

Is rTMS safe?

rTMS is extremely safe and well tolerated. It is non-invasive, requires no anaesthesia, and has no systemic side effects. Where side effects occur, they are mild and transient, most commonly a mild headache or some fatigue on the night of treatment. The only clinically significant risk is seizure, occurring in about 0.003% of sessions, or roughly 1 in 33,000 (a conservative figure). When one does occur, it is brief, stops on its own and leaves no lasting harm. It has never occurred at Naya Health.

Who is the optimise protocol for?

The optimise protocol is designed for executives, founders, traders and other high performers who depend on sharp, sustained cognitive function. It is also suited to anyone held back by brain fog, difficulty concentrating, or a sense that their thinking is not as clear as it should be under high demand. The protocol targets focus, working memory, executive function and cognitive endurance: the neural foundations of clear thinking under sustained load.
